My name is Leandro. I am twenty-one years old and I am from Mendoza in Argentina.

I was working in a company, today I'm a unemployed more... (jajajaja es un bajon loco... hoy dia me suspendieron esos malditos)

I study English at C.L.E. (aguante loco). Our teacher is Maria Ines, she is so cool and so funny... Ines thank you for your good wave.

I am knowing a very special girl... (she is not still my girlfriend) She is very important to me. Her name is Katia... Katia, I love you so much!!! (aguante Fun people)

In my free time:

I like listening all types of music, but my favourite is Grunge... Bands like Nirvana, Pearl jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. (noooh son mansos grosos los chabones)
I play guitar but I am not very great, now I am saving to buy me a Saxophone (ok... I was).
I love going to pub with my friends to drink a lot of beer (re botella... I'm drunkman).
But I don't like the Sunday's day, because are very boring to me.
And of course... I like to be with my Family.

Ok... this is a part of me, and I'm a happy boy.

Aaaah... another thing, I like to see The Simpsons, the tv program... jajajaja they are the best of the world (una masa).

I study economics and mathematics at Gettysburg College, in Pennsylvania. I am friends with Audrey, and we both study at Gettysburg College. I love all types of activities!! I like going aut with my friends at weekends and meeting new people!... I like going dancing.. I love music!.. My favourite band`s “Los Piojos”, but also I listening internacional rock or pop music....
I like getting together to drink “mate” at weekends too with my friends. “Mate” it´s a tippical argentinian drink made with good herbs!..
Sometimes my friends and me go to the montains.. because one of them has a house there. So we planificated a super weekend to be all together!..It´s so much fun!

I hate sea food and liver... I love meat and vegetabls and fruits too!!... So my favourite meal´s “asado” with a good salad, pizza and milanesas!!

Hello everyone!!! How are you? I'm doing well. Right now I'm at work and I don't have any projects to complete, so I decided to make a post! I think that this is a great idea and a wonderful opportunity for you to practise your English!

I miss Argentina a lot. What are your favorite things about Mendoza? What kind of food do you like to eat? My favorite Argentine meals are milanesa and ASADO!!! I wish I could have an asado here...unfortunately I don't know how :-( But I have been to an Argentine restaurant south of my university called El Patio, and they have really good steak.

I go to a university called Gettysburg College. I am majoring in Spanish, but I am also studying French and Chinese (and maybe Arabic). I would like to go to graduate school and study International Business so that I can find a job that will let me travel. Here are some pictures that my boyfriend took of my campus:

I love reading books, listening to music, the mountains and all(s) animals especially dogs, I have got three dogs!!! but I don`t like cats. I enjoy going to the country with my family because it is very calm and I can ride (riding) a horse (we have got a country house in Santa Rosa and we sometimes go there at the weekend). I like taking photos, going (to) out with my friends and going to the cinema but, in winter, I prefer watching (the) movies in my house.

Hello class!!!

My name is Audrey Thomas, and I am a 21-year-old girl living in the United States!!! I am from Colorado, but am studying, working, and living in Pennsylvania for now. I lived in Mendoza from July, 2006 to December, 2006, and LOVED it!!! It truly was a great experience, and I met tons of wonderful people!!!
